  • check the closing dates;
  • check whether there are Special Admission Requirements for your course;

  • contact the Contact Service Centre on 1800 897 669 if you require further information.

How to apply for postgraduate coursework courses

Only Australian citizens or holders of permanent resident visas should apply using the process outlined below. Non-residents should apply through UWS International.

Applications are lodged using the apply-by-web form on the UAC Website.  The UAC Postgraduate Coursework Booklet is on the UAC website or call the Course Information Centre on 1800 897669 and ask for a copy to be sent to you.

The Table of Courses on the UAC web site and in the Postgraduate Coursework Booklet provides a summary of courses available for Intakes, including the estimated tuition fees, and identifies those courses with Special Admission Requirements. Descriptions of the courses including admission requirements can be found at the Postgraduate Mid Year Admissions Course List.

The Special Requirements page provides information on the courses that require supplementary forms and/or information.

UWS has recently changed to a preference-based system for postgraduate offers. This means you will receive only one offer, for the course highest in your preferences for which you are eligible. Please make sure you consider your preferences carefully.
